Biden gives US media the bird

Joe Biden marked his 81st birthday with a dig at US media’s concerns about his age. Speaking outside the White House where he was pardoning two turkeys ahead of Thanksgiving, the president said: “By the way it’s my birthday today. I just want you to know it’s difficult turning 60.” A Wall Street Journal editorial had earlier called his decision to stand for president again “an act of profound selfishness”.
