Five years, 47 artists and four cities in the making, Hayward Gallery’s touring exhibition British Art Show 9 brings together the most important and ambitious contemporary art being made in the country right now. Just landed for its second leg at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, the works provide a snapshot of Britain since 2015 – a busy time, you’ll agree – with artists such as Oscar Murillo, Hurvin Anderson, Alberta Whittle and Sin Wai Kin engaging with events including the Black Lives Matter protests.
