The latest of Adam Sandler’s random films for Netflix is this fun-loving musical animation, centred on a talking lizard (voiced by Sandler) who lives in a classroom. When a student tells him that he’s looking old, he decides to sneak off home with them, ready for a new life of adventure; until, that is, they realise that he can talk, turning him into an in-demand school celebrity.
