A Child of Our Time might well be the greatest anti-Fascist piece ever written. It premiered in 1944, but now, in the midst of a European war, is freshly timely – not least because it suggests how light can come from darkness. The LPO, under conductor Edward Gardner, is joined by four soloists and the London Philharmonic Choir.
