England have not improved

Whatever Eddie Jones may say or believe, one must question whether there has been any progression or improvement in the England team since the last World Cup. The answer is quite definitely no. Given that this situation has not just suddenly emerged, it is also right to question why the powers that be at the RFU have not identified this issue, and taken the appropriate action in regard to Jones’s tenure as head coach. Less than a year out from the next World Cup is arguably not an ideal time to be looking for a new coach, but, frankly, what have England got to lose.

And finally, this same letter could have been written with the appropriate areas being replaced with the words, Wayne Pivac, Wales and WRU – but do not get me started on the shambles in this country.
