Bidding starts at the Tattersalls October yearling sale in Newmarket yesterday. The Suffolk town is hosting 550 of the world’s best-bred young horses. Anthony Stroud, on behalf of Godolphin, paid more than £1.3m for a daughter of Dubawi, consigned by breeders Meon Valley Stud.
