No 10 sticks by Raab after third complaint

Downing Street insisted Rishi Sunak still has confidence in Dominic Raab after an inquiry into his deputy’s behaviour was expanded to include a third formal complaint against him.

The latest claim relates to Mr Raab’s tenure at the now-defunct department for exiting the EU. It will be considered with two other formal complaints over Mr Raab’s prior stints at the Ministry of Justice and Foreign Office. No10 said it is understood the latest allegation was received on Wednesday.

A source has confirmed reports that multiple senior officials who worked with Mr Raab are preparing to submit further formal complaints.
