Kanye tells of ‘good things about Hitler’ in TV outburst

By Josie Ensor

KANYE WEST said there “were good things about Hitler” as he appeared on alt-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’s Infowars show yesterday.

The US rapper wore a full black face mask as he said the Nazi leader deserved praise in the latest in a long line of antisemitic remarks.

West told the show’s host: “I see good things about Hitler ... This guy that invented highways and invented the very microphone that I use as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good. I’m done with that,” he continued.

“Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table,” especially Hitler.”

West has expressed a slew of antisemitic opinions in recent weeks. In October, he was locked out of Twitter after saying he would go “death con 3” on Jewish people. The 45-year-old was promptly stripped of several lucrative partnerships with companies including Adidas and Balenciaga.

CNN, a US news network, reported last month that West had been praising Hitler for years in private. Yesterday was the first time he had spoken positively about the Nazi leader in public.
