Succession star Cox: rich are as ‘fragile’ as the poor

Brian Cox has suggested rich people need pity too, because they are just as “fragile” as the poor.

The Scottish actor said it was difficult not to judge the rich people he interviewed on his new documentary series, How the Other Half Live.

The 76 year old grew up in poverty in Dundee, but now plays the billionaire Logan Roy in Succession.

He told the Full Disclosure podcast: “What was tough for me about doing it [the series] was judging.

“I could easily judge because of where I come from politically. I think you have to be generous when speaking to wealthy people because in a way they are more fragile. They can be as fragile as someone who is poor.”
