Willock winner stuns leaders

Sheffield United’s 10-game unbeaten run ended as Chris Willock stunned the leaders and secured QPR’S fourth away win of the season.

Willock took his chance with deadly aplomb, firing in low at the near post before he was forced off with a hamstring injury.

“We showed blood and guts,” said QPR manager Michael Beale. “This young QPR side is growing.”

QPR were denied a second when Wes Foderingham saved from Lyndon Dykes and then Tyler Roberts shot wide, but the hosts felt they should have had a late penalty when Sander Berge was challenged by Andre Dozzell. “He’s got two hands pulling his shirt back,” said United manager Paul Heckingbottom.
